New growth shows a reddish tint. Oval, glossy green leaves turn an attractive reddish purple in autumn. Callery Pear trees are very hardy and fast growing. In winter the tight, narrow form is a refined silhouette in the landscape. It has a heavy abundance of single white flowers in the spring and outstanding reddish-orange to purple fall color. The Callery Pear tree, Pyrus calleryana, 'callery X Aristocrat cultivar', is a tight, narrow, pyramidal, thornless, ornamental pear tree. They are an excellent choice for a trouble-free, beautiful addition in any landscape situation.
