Daisy - Butterfly

The Daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The Daisy Butterfly, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Winners. These Daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. The Daisy 'Butterfly' is a heat-tolerant marguerite Daisy with oomph. 'Butterfly' produces canary-yellow flowers throughout the summer ­ even without deadheading. Nierembergia - Mont Blanc They flower all summer long and they are unfazed by heat and humidity. The one inch white saucer shaped blossoms have yellowcenters and are delightful on wispy upright stems. For zones 8 and above this plant can also be a perennial.
