Spring Bulbs Astrantia Collection
Astrantia Collection The Complete Caladium Collection, ' 'Caladium x hortulanum', is an assortment for any Caladium collector. Plant them in moist soil with plenty of fertilizer to promote plenty of large and colorful leaves. Or mix them together for a patchwork of pink, green, red, and white. Plant them in groups to accentuate each of the cultivars' unique leaf colors and patterns. The 33 bulbs will fill your shady garden with a bounty of colorful foliage. This assortment of Caladium bulbs includes three of each of our eleven featured cultivars. Deadhead the flowers when they appear to prolong the development of leaves throughout the summer.

Peony Tree Shimane Island Collection A mature plant can have in excess of a hundred flowers and these can be 10" or more across! The flowers range in color from maroon, crimson, scarlet, various shades of pink, to pure white. These Tree Peonies display huge, ruffled, satin-like flowers that are super hardy! Every garden needs a tree peony. The Shimane Island Tree Peony Collection, 'Paeonia', contains 3 plants, 1 each of High Noon, Koukamon, & Shima-nishiki. They flower from late April to early May but the flowering season does vary from year to year. There are very few plants that can compete with a tree peony in full bloom.
Crocosmia Lucifer Crocosmias are clump forming and bloom best in crowded conditions. The flowers are very showy, and they make great cut flowers. The Crocosmia is also commonly known as Monbretia. The Crocosmia Lucifer, 'Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora', a spring planted corm, produces beautiful red flowers. This plant has attractive foliage.
Daylily Stella De Oro ‘Stella de Oro’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant. ‘Stella de Oro’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. It has been named Perennial of the Year. 5”. ‘Stella de Oro’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and a definite re-bloomer, more than any in its family.
Gladiolus Blue Isle The Blue Isle, 'Gladiolus Blue Isle', a spring planted corm, exhibits magnificent dark blue flowers with a light blue heart. To extend the time of flower availability of your Glads, plant in two week intervals from early spring through June. They make striking accents in a mixed border. Gladiolas are also commonly called Sword Lily or Corn Flag. Glads are easy to grow and like to be in full sun and in well drained soil.
Crocosmia Emily Mckenzie The Crocosmia is also commonly known as Monbretia. The Crocosmia Emily McKenzie, 'Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora emily mckenzie', a spring planted corm, produces beautiful orange flowers with red centers. This plant has attractive foliage. Hummingbirds flock to their blooms. The flowers are very showy, and they make great cut flowers.

Gladiolus Cheops Gladiolus are also commonly called Sword Lily or Corn Flag. Plant in groups of six or more in the garden, or grow lots of them for cuttings in a bed. They make striking accents in a mixed border.
Astilbe Visions In Pink The Astilbe Chinensis Visions in Pink PP#118, 'Astilbe Chinensis', has clear raspberry pink plumes that light up shady garden spaces in spring. Drifts of this Astilbe are stunning when paired with other white blooming shade plants like Japanese Orchids or Peonies. Throughout the summer lacy deep green foliage adds ferny texture to garden beds long after the blooms have faded.
Astilbe Visions In Red The Astilbe Chinensis Visions in Red PP#119, 'Chinensis Visions', produces rusty maroon red flowers that are tinted with a faint rosy tone that is ever-changing as the flower plume matures throughout the spring. Throughout the summer lacy deep green foliage adds ferny texture to garden beds long after the blooms have faded. Astilbe needs well drained, but moist and highly organic soil; humusy forest gardens are a perfect example of where these plants will thrive.
